First announced in March, UFC 154's Montreal fight card is beginning to fill up as verbal agreements are in for a handful of bouts.
At middleweight, "Filthy" Tom Lawlor will take on France's Francis "Limitless" Carmont. At lightweight, two grappling specialists will meet in a chess match between BJJ black belts as Toronto's Mark Bocek faces Rio's Rafael Dos Anjos.
In yet another battle between black belts hailing from Canada and Brazil, Ontario's Antonio Carvalho will face TUF Brasil alum Rodrigo Damm. Both fighters are coming off impressive first-round finishes and looking to make names for themselves in the crowded, talent-rich featherweight division. Also at featherweight, Canadian kickboxing standout Mark Hominick will go to war with submission specialist Pablo Garza.
Montreal, home to UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, has set several previous UFC live event records including fastest sellout, largest gate and attendance.More details about the event, including main event and ticket on-sale information, will be released in coming weeks on www.ufc.com
