King of Champions again brings top MMA Amateur and Pro Bouts to Denver in late March with Shockwave 2009 with a fight card filled with talented and exciting fighters.
After a rousing success with Apocalypse 2009, KOC will be live for the third time in as many months in Denver, Colorado, on March 28, 2009. The fight card promises to provide MMA fight followers with action-filled Amateur and Pro Title fights. Its second female MMA Amateur fight will feature Kelly Brown, a return fighter from the Apocalypse female fight.
The fight venue is again at the Crowne Plaza Hotel DIA Event Center. And back with its support will be the locally-run PunchDrunkGamer web site with full coverage and photos. This web site provides live coverage of UFC, DREAM, Affliction and K-1 fights.
The fight card includes two Pro title fights, two Amateur title fights, eight Amateur fights, and one female Amateur fight.

* The Main Event: Chris Camozzi VS. Jesse Taylor 185 Pro Title. Camozzi currently holds the KOC Middleweight Title.
* The Co-Main Event: Rocky Johnson VS. Bryant Craven 155 Pro Title. Johnson currently holds the KOC Lightweight Title.
MMA Amateur Title Fights
* Joey Banks VS. Matt Vigil 145 AM Title. Banks currently holds the KOC Featherweight Title. Vigil currently holds the Jr. Lightweight KOC Title.
* Mikey Koonce VS. Chris Sauceudo 170lb AM Title. Koonce won by TKO over Travis Hollis at Apocalypse 2009. Koonce fought that bout at 155.
