Perth hero and Team Lojak fighter Luke ‘The Pitbull’ Aram defeated New Zealand’s Trevor Salang when he fought in Melbourne on Saturday night.

A 4th round TKO ended the fight and hailed local hero Aram victorious. Also fighting out of Riddler’s Muay Thai and Kickboxing Gym in Perth, Golden Girl Caley Lewis represented WA at the event only to be narrowly defeated by Nicole Brolan on points.

New Caledonia's Ellaylo Page in the first fight of the games, Heather took
on Madeiline Ross of South Africa in the final. Despite fighting in a
heavier weight division, Heather defeated both of her opponents convincingly
to bring home the Gold.

Heather O'Donnell also took home the prestigious 'Best Female Fighter of the
Games' award.

Team Lojak Superstar and current CFC champ, ROB HILL takes on Adrian Pang to
defend his World Title this Saturday night on Australia's Gold Coast. The
fight is main event of the Cage Fighting Championship's first Queensland
show. The match up for the CFC Lightweight World Title Fight has been highly
anticipated and ROB HILL promises to deliver.

When Rob was asked about the fight he said "This is going to be a
firecracker of a fight. Expect it to go off, whether it is for five minutes
of twenty five minutes. The fans pay a lot of money to see quality fights,
and this is what they are coming for. As for my thoughts on Adrian, well, I
respect him as a professional. That being said, once the cage door closes I
am going to do everything I can to make him look very, very bad. I train too

AUSSIES TAKE ON AMERICANS IN MMA SHOWDOWN “BRAGGING RIGHTS”


In Australia MMA is still in its infancy, but emerging as the style of choice for fight fans. On Saturday, January 21st Perth locals and visitors will have the opportunity to witness the first of many showdowns between the Americans and Aussies when the “Bragging Rights” series is launched. The K-OZ Entertainment MMA debut main event will feature Soa “The Hulk” Palelei vs Henry Miller from the states. Dave Mazany from Wanderlei’s Fight Team will be challenging Steve Kennedy for the middle weight strap. Grady Stewart – Managing Director for K-OZ is bringing over DogBoxer, a Las Vegas based MMA fight team and mgmt company with 3 fighters in tow - Dave Mazany as well as Ashe Bowman a long time Lion’s Den fighter and Briggs Foreman an up and coming DogBoxer product. “It’s been great working with Scott and I’m excited to send over DogBoxer guys and work with K-OZ”, John Miklos Moomey (DogBoxer rep)..”
