Bogdan Stoica did an KO sensation with his flying knee against French Marsan Yohan, while his brother, Andrei, recorded in his turn and impressive win against Algerian Zinedine Lain-Hameur with a brutal right hand in the second round who finished the battle.
“Was a great night for us, I’m very happy because also my brother won by KO. I will continue my trainings because this autumn I hope to defend my world champion belt and I must be in a great shape for that.”, said Bogdan Stoica.
In a super-fight at -65 kg division, with a spectacular presentation made by Cyrus Fee and Jelani Khalfani, the veteran Ionut “Pitbull” Atodiresei has raised the hall to his feet at his battle against Greek Kostas Papadelis. One of the most popular fighters in Romania, a real TV star, Atodiresei forced the decisive blow in all three rounds, but Papadelis has been heroic as well as the spartans and stood up at the end, when, by unanimous decision, the judges gave the victory to “Pitbull”.
In other international fights, Catalin Morosanu’s sparring-partner, Danut Hurduc, defeated Kay Bult (Netherlands) and the Maroccan Ibrahim El Bouni won by split decision in front of Ciprian Schiopu. In an eliminating confrontation for world title SUPERKOMBAT® New Heroes, Ciprian Milea won again in front of Claudiu Badoi, who abandoned after the third round.
