UFC 139: Shogun vs. Hendo – Fight Card
Main Card (PPV):
Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua via Decision - Unanimous (48-47 all judges)
- Fight of the Year! and maybe more. Hendo almost had Shogun out twice and Shogun almost had Hendo out twice. Amazing fight.
Cung Le vs. Wanderlei Silva via KO (Strikes) Round 2 (1:29)
The Axe Murderer returns with devastating knees and strikes to crush Le in the second round.
Brian Bowles vs. Urijah Faber via Submission (Guillotine Choke) Round 2 (1:27)
- Faber used great striking to floor Bowles and after some nasty GNP he sunk in the choke and Bowles was down.
Martin Kampmann vs. Rick Story via Decision - Split (28-29, 30-27, 29-28)
- Although this fight started off great it really didn't match the hype and Kampmann really controlled the stand-up after the first round and used his cage control to pace the rest of the fight.
Stephan Bonnar vs. Kyle Kingsbury via Decision - Unanimous (30-27, 30-25, 30-27)
- All three rounds looked exactly the same, Bonnar gets a takedown, works a few submission attempts and pounds Kingsbury with GNP.
Preliminary Card (Spike TV):
Ryan Bader vs. Jason Brilz via KO (Strikes) Round 1 (1:17)
- Bader wants to keep his UFC job and lands a right hook early and Brilz is out.

- Soto got rocked early and couldn't survive pressure from McDonald.

- Impressive takedown and almost immediate choke by Weidman as he moves to 7-0.
Rafael dos Anjos vs. Gleison Tibau via Decision - Split (28-29, 29-28, 30-27)
- FOTN so far after a slow start Tibau brought his A game but a bloodied dos Anjos refused to go out.

- Torres controlled every aspect of the fight and he looks like he is regaining his championship form.

- Close first round but Brown got caught almost immediately to begin the second.
Shamar Bailey vs. Danny Castillo via TKO (Strikes) Round 1 (4:52)
- Castillo had some bad ass slams that should make TV later tonight.
