The final results are in for Bellator MMA's event live from Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena. The event featured the Bellator Middleweight World Championship with Alexander Shlemenko beating Brett Cooper to retain his world title by unanimous decision. The night also featured the opening rounds of the Bellator Middleweight Tournament with Mikkel Parlo, Jason Butcher, Brennan Ward and Perry Filkins moving on to the semifinals. Mikkel will face Butcher and Ward will fight Filkins in the semifinal round.

**Additional note: Bellator confirmed on Friday morning that Joe Warren had been pulled from Saturday night's Bellator 98 card in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations ruled that Warren was ineligible to fight and Bellator announced that the undercard bout between Patricky "Pitbull" Freire and Derek Anderson will be moved to the main card on Spike TV.
